About the role
The Adult Day Program Instructor is responsible for providing educational and recreational activities to adults with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily activity plans that promote social interaction and cognitive development.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance professional skills.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
