Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Cardiovascular Medicine Advanced Practice Provider
About the role
The Heart and Vascular Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a motivated Advanced Practicing Provider (APRN or PA) with a strong interest and background in general cardiology. The candidate will join a diverse Section comprised of both physicians and APPs, collaborating with innovative cardiology subspecialties such as the Electrophysiology team, Heart Failure and Pulmonary HTN team, and the Interventional and Structural Heart teams.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex and acute cardiac conditions
- Triage of cardiac patients at community hospitals for transfer to the tertiary care center
- Management of chronic cardiac conditions
- Acting as a patient advocate, ensuring all aspects of patients' and families' needs are met and preventing fragmentation of care
- Teaching role and participation in quality improvement activities
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
National specialty certification as FNP, PNP, Acute or Primary Care A-GNP, WHNP or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRN only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration

$120,000 - $140,000 annually
Schedule
Primarily between 7a-5:30p, with travel to DHMC and outreach sites to support the Adult Congenital Program
