Adult Beverage Specialist $20-$22.50/hr*

About the role

We are looking for an approachable and outgoing teammate with a vast knowledge of foreign and domestic wines, beers, and spirits to join our adult beverage department. This is a fast-paced environment suited for someone with excellent multi-tasking and communication skills. At least one weekend day of work will be required.

Responsibilities

• Control inventory through proper ordering
• Receive product and stock all items to shelves
• Craft creative displays
• Maintain a clean and attractive environment
• Provide world-class service by sharing product knowledge and assisting guests with purchases and special orders
• Travel to other Nugget Market locations in the Sacramento Valley

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Proficient knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
• Certified Specialist of Wine or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic understanding of the English language, including the ability to communicate and read instructions, schedules, and signage
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Basic problem-solving abilities
• A positive attitude
