About the Role
The registered nurse (RN) provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a shift basis. The RN supervises staff, supports high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing practices, and ensures staff competency and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver patient care based on nursing processes and established safety standards.
- Support quality improvement, infection control, and risk management efforts.
- Plan and execute patient care within medical protocols and discharge with optimal outcomes.
- Perform all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) duties during emergencies, understanding hospital emergency codes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure, certification, or registration as required by law.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and knowledge of safety standards.
