About the role

This adjunct position (two evenings per week/ three hours per class) will be responsible for the delivery of evening instruction to students enrolled in the ABE program, for classes held at OSUIT in Okmulgee, OK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evening instruction to students enrolled in the ABE program
• Teach classes at OSUIT in Okmulgee, OK

Requirements

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university required
• Three years experience in a formal educational environment required
• Must have a current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate or license
• Preferably high School standard or better
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations
• Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior
• Ability to work effectively with various audiences
• Strong organizational skills as well as a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment
• Flexible, innovative and self-motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict
• Ability to work evenings

Benefits

Pay

Appointment Length: 10 months
Hiring Range: $25.00 - $30.00
Commensurate with education and experience

Schedule

6 hours per week, evening classes.
