ADST Academic Coach & BUSA Tutor

Position Summary

The ADST Academic Coach and BUSA Tutor is a part-time position that supports adult studies day and online/evening program students through one-on-one and small group sessions. Responsibilities include enhancing study skills across the curriculum, addressing the unique challenges of non-native/multilingual students, and providing support for exam preparation, test-taking, and time management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Business, or another related field preferred
• ESL background a plus
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in academic support services at the secondary or college level
• Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Teaching experience preferred
• Able to provide evening, weekend, and Summer/Winter session hours of availability
• Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
