Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist

Average hourly rate is $20 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.).

About the role

As an Adoption Stabilization & Preservation Specialist, you will work with children and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments. You will teach skills such as emotion regulation, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication within families among other things. Specialists will work together with families to create a safe, stable, flexible, and comfortable environment for all family members.

• Teach skills including emotion regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and communication
• Collaborate with families to create stable and comfortable living environments
• Connect families with community resources to improve their lives
• Advocate for children and families

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field
• Previous experience in adoption services, adoption preservation, or related family support work is preferred (but not required for eager and committed candidates)
• Compassionate, eager to learn, and passionate about supporting children and families
• Desire to help families build healthy, long-lasting relationships
• Completion of Predictive Index assessment (takes 5-7 minutes, no right or wrong answers)
