Essential Duties

  • Aids the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and supervising nursing staff activities.
  • Qualification
    • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
    • Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain all required continuing education/licensing requirements.
    • At least 3-5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.

    Physical Demands

    • Sometimes lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
    • Frequent use of a desk top or laptop computer.
    • Work Environment

      • The work environment is usually low to moderate in noise level.
      • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
