ADON/Infection Preventionist

About the Role

Page Rehabilitation, a leading provider of short and long-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced ADON/Infection Preventionist to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality care and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures to prevent and control the spread of infections.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Infection Preventionist.
• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in interdisciplinary team management.
