What You Will Be Doing
- Author fictionalised adolescent mental health case scenarios grounded in real-world clinical expertise, reviewed for realism, developmental appropriateness, and ethical integrity.
- Develop and refine clinician-informed evaluation rubrics covering domains such as suicide and self-harm risk, therapeutic impersonation, and parasocial attachment.
- Review a subset of generated conversations and provide structured expert judgment to calibrate automated evaluation systems.
- Advisory on best practices for assessing chatbot behavior across crisis referral, safety planning, emotional dependency, and discouragement of professional care.
- Collaborate with researchers building rigorous, independent benchmarks with potential to influence future clinical and safety guidelines.
Who We Are Looking For
- MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
- Clinical or research background focused on children and adolescents, with depth in one or more of: suicide prevention, self-harm assessment, child and adolescent psychiatry, clinical psychology, digital mental health, or evidence-based therapies (DBT, CBT).
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to deliver structured, actionable clinical feedback.
- Comfortable authoring fictional clinical scenarios and applying evaluative judgment to text-based conversations.
- PREFERRED: Published research in adolescent mental health, suicide prevention, or digital therapeutics; experience developing clinical guidelines or assessment frameworks.
Role Details
- Compensation: $80 - $150 USD per hour
- Work style: Remote
- Duration: Hourly contract; approximately 10-15 hours per week, with scope subject to adjustment based on project needs and performance.
