About the role
Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking licensed clinicians to provide therapeutic support, treatment planning, and discharge planning for adolescents in an outpatient psychiatric setting. Clinicians join the interdisciplinary treatment team, facilitate group and individual therapy, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Create group curricula based on evidence-based modalities.
- Lead the alumni group for patients who have completed treatment (Wednesdays at 5 PM).
- Provide psycho-therapeutic services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluate patient data and implement individualized plans of care.
- Complete progress notes and discharge plans in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with treatment plan requirements, including weekly reviews and updates with patients.
- Document all treatment in medical records per case management guidelines.
- Complete legally mandated reports for suspected abuse and inform supervisor.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field (required).
- Clinical Intern licensure or full licensure (required).
- Minimum one year of experience as a therapist (preferred).
- Experience running therapeutic groups (preferred).
Pay
$2,500 per month for clinical interns; $5,000 per month for fully licensed clinicians.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday. Hours may vary.
