Job Role: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer Location: Remote Duration: 4-month contract Job Description: We are looking for a driven, passionate, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer to join our team. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to design and implement the best solution in our projects. This key member of our team contributes to the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, data modeling, technical design, development, testing, and implementation. This individual will be focused on delivering assigned tasks and/or specific tracks of the solution on time, escalating issues when appropriate as well as educating and leading others in the form of code reviews, and documentation. The work: Ability to design, develop, and implement using Adobe Experience Manager with focus on assets and content fragmentsAbility to extend out of the box content fragment data typesAbility to quickly get up to speed and start contributing towards the projectAbility to build custom servlets to deliver Json output from content fragmentsAbility to design and build workflowProvide advanced-level development and documentation skillsProvide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testingExpert level understating of dispatcher and caching mechanismAssist in technical design, use data modeling techniques and Adobe best practicesAbility to collaborate and communicate clearly with peers, product owners, stake holders and scrum mastersSelf-starter, independently manage time and tasksShow high degree of passion for content management and quality of work Qualifications: Overall 10+ years of IT experienceMinimum of 6 years of experience implementing Adobe AEM (AEM 6.4 or higher)Design, develop and support AEM content fragments, integrations, and applicationsExperience with RESTful API and GraphQL (nice to have)Minimum of 6 years of J2EE programming experience requiredKnowledge of Sling, Spring and Struts Framework, or other MVC frameworks.Experience working with geographically separate project teamsExperience with unit testing and automated testing toolsExperience with secure coding practicesExperience implementing web content management systems in a large corporate environment.Experience with object-oriented design and design patternsExcellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environmentExperience with dispatcher, caching, and CDN technologiesExperience with OSGI BundlesExperience with AEM development practices, Gitlab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelineExperience building, deploying, and supporting Internet-facing applicationsSuperior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills
