Responsibilities

• Processing in and out patients at the front desk
• Scheduling exams
• Verifying insurance information and patients’ demographics
• Verifying proper orders for billing

Requirements

• Computer literate and typing skills
• Insurance billing preferred
• Knowledge of all areas of diagnostic imaging including Cardiology and Pulmonary departments
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Licensure and Certification: None applicable
• Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience of at least one year in hospital or medical office setting
• Medical terminology: Strongly preferred
