About the role

North Port Behavioral Health is a Premier Mental Health and Substance Misuse Hospital seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our team in North Port, FL.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients and their families
• Treatment planning
• Completing shift reports
• Rounding/monitoring in the milieu
• Medication administration
• Checking in with Behavior Analysts (BHAs)
• Following up on incidents
• Completing nursing assessments
• Ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate’s degree in Nursing
• One year of experience working with individuals in a clinical or observational capacity, preferably within the area of specialty for the hiring facility
• Clear and active nursing license in the state
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
