About the Role
This is a Per Diem Admissions Representative Registrar position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Director of Access Services and the Admitting/Communications Assistant, the Admitting Representative registers and admits patients ensuring adherence to specific departmental policies and procedures.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since then, the hospital has evolved to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. After merging with Circle City Medical Center in 1992, it became a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The hospital is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 trained healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.
Responsibilities
- Register and admit patients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- One year of previous experience as an Admitting Representative or medical receptionist preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Assaultive Behavior Management certificate required within 90 days from date of hire.
