Admissions Representative Recruiting

Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech) is a Non-profit Trade school located in Jacksonville, FL. We are searching for professionals to fill positions in our Admissions Department, specifically focused on high school recruiting. In this role, you will help parents direct their high school seniors in shaping their future while addressing the skills gap in our communities. You will play a major role in growing the school’s population as part of a dynamic, expanding institution.

Responsibilities

• Answer student inquiries in a timely manner and engage in conversations with students and their parents/caregivers.
• Utilize various tools to achieve recruitment goals.
• Participate in training to build your skill set, with performance measured against goals.
• Schedule appointments with parents and students, conduct interviews and tours, and guide families through the next steps toward enrollment.
• Continue working with students to ensure they remain motivated and attend school.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to show initiative and work well both independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong computer skills are required.
