ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE (PRN NIGHTS & WEEKENDS ONLY)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for timely and accurate registration of all ER, Inpatient and all outpatient services.

Obtains a copy of the patients’ insurance card and explains the registration process and consent forms to patient at time of registration.

Obtains signatures for Business Office & Medical Records.

Responsible for collecting any payments due towards estimated amounts for any co-pays/deductibles and self-pay patients.

Responsible for business office calls regarding payments & questions.

Required to perform other duties as assigned by the Admission Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
