Admissions Representative
Purpose
The Enrollment Representative is responsible for working with prospective students. They will actively manage and service a database of prospective students including outreach, conducting admissions meetings, and helping students complete the enrollment steps. They have a genuine passion for people, higher education, and the art community. They are a high-energy professional with exceptional relationship building, presentation, communication, and organizational skills. They ensure exemplary services and assistance are provided to engage prospective students with the college admissions process, which requires excellent time management skills and daily follow-up with inquiries and applicants. They actively solve problems, identify solutions to address prospective student concerns. They participate in recruiting events and other critical tasks as outlined by the Admissions Enrollment Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Competency Management of prospective student databases to meet and exceed daily & weekly goals along with achieving student matriculation outcomes.
- High volume daily outreach to prospective inquiries should result in rapport and relationship building, setting appointments, conducting admissions meetings and helping students apply to and matriculate to the college.
- Consistent follow-up with applicants to complete enrollment steps and address any concerns or needs.
- Continually seeks out knowledge to improve product awareness and provide a superior level of service.
- Participation in recruiting events and activities as assigned.
- Procurement of student referrals through strong relationship building.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years' experience in student facing roles related to admissions, recruitment, higher education or sales.
- Track record of exceeding individual and team goals.
- Genuine excitement for people, education, technology, and arts industries.
- Self-motivated, adaptive, resilient, and embody integrity, always willing to do the right thing.
- Dynamic and innovative personality with a strong desire to connect with people.
- Possess strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excel at face-to-face and phone communication in both “one-on-one” and large group environments.
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and oral), comfortable with calling campaigns in addition to building bridges across all college departments through collaboration and understanding.
- Open to coaching is non-defensive and always seeking to improve.
- Displays characteristics consistent with being highly accountable to results.
