Admissions Representative

About the Role

The Admissions Representative provides customer service and information to prospective students interested in pursuing career education and training. This role involves conducting outbound and inbound communications, hosting campus tours, facilitating enrollments, and supporting students throughout their educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound and inbound telephone calls, texts, and emails; respond promptly to all inquiries.
• Share information with prospective students within Ancora Education’s Code of Conduct and accreditation guidelines.
• Schedule campus visits, conduct tours, and facilitate registrations.
• Follow up with new students to ensure a smooth transition into active student life.
• Contribute to team initiatives and collaborate with diverse groups of employees and customers.
• Deliver presentations with consistent energy and enthusiasm.
• Thrive in an observation and coaching-style environment.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and independent work skills.
• Manage frequent interruptions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Utilize strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and industry-related software applications.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related area from an accredited academic institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Proven success in a high-volume customer service setting.
• Experience with CampusVue and/or Velocify software.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in sales and/or customer service.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Work Environment

• Typically not exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
