ADMISSIONS REP/REGISTRAR - DESERT SPRINGS FED (FULL-TIME)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register all incoming patients and their representatives.
• Ensure necessary admission information is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPAA guidelines.
• Play a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care.
• Comprehensive understanding of patient admission processes.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing and patient accounting systems.
• HIPAA and PCI compliance required.
• Insurance knowledge preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
