Admissions Host
About the Role
As an Admissions Host at our theme park, you'll be the first and last point of contact for guests, creating unforgettable impressions. In this fast-paced, guest-focused role, you'll deliver exceptional service, manage admissions, and enhance guest experiences through product recommendations and seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests upon entry.
- Scan admission tickets at the main entry to ensure validity.
- Assist guests with the biometric scan.
- Distribute literature, including park maps and show schedules.
- Advise guests on and monitor the hand-stamp re-entry policy.
- Recommend premium products using a service-based sales process.
- Assist with stroller and wheelchair rental check-ins.
- Expedite lines and provide guest assistance where needed.
- Provide extraordinary guest service, answering questions and resolving complaints.
- Ensure safety practices and park standards are maintained.
- Monitor and maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
- De-escalate and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Perform duties related to area presentation throughout the day.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Job Demands
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently with assistance.
- Work in moderate to high noise levels and various weather conditions, including heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Schedule
Must be available to work at least 4 days per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.
Pay
$19 per hour. After 1,000 hours worked, pay increases to $23/hr.
