About the role
Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is hiring an Admissions Concierge in Syracuse, NY. We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider, giving you faster access to your earnings!
Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective residents, families, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism and compassion.
- Cook up the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident admission.
- Coordinate admissions with nursing, social services, therapy, and other departments to ensure smooth resident transitions.
- Maintain accurate admission records and census information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and families throughout the admission process.
- Aid with marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events as needed.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, customer service, hospitality, or long-term care is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities are essential.
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is important.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR), is preferred.
- A professional demeanor with a compassionate, positive attitude is required.
