Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents, families, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism and compassion.
• Cook up the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident admission.
• Coordinate admissions with nursing, social services, therapy, and other departments to ensure smooth resident transitions.
• Maintain accurate admission records and census information.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and families throughout the admission process.
• Aid with marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events as needed.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, customer service, hospitality, or long-term care is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities are essential.
• The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is important.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR), is preferred.
• A professional demeanor with a compassionate, positive attitude is required.
