About the role
Nurture existing relationships with students to create active progression through the admissions funnel. Partner with students and families through the joy and complexity of the college admissions experience. Elevate admitted student commitment through high-yield conversion strategies. Mitigate deposit melt and prepare students for college success. Create a seamless transition from student recruiter to student admissions counselor using a strategic approach to leverage engagement history and communication data to move students from lead to application.
Responsibilities
- Engage with applicants and connect their college aspirations to the opportunities offered at LeTourneau University with the goal of moving them from application to acceptance.
- Create progression from deposited to enrolled by celebrating the student’s decision through community connections and success preparation.
- Ensure students are well-prepared for their college experience through a series of orientation events and readiness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Embody an enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith, demonstrating a strong commitment to service within an interdenominational, evangelical Christian university that prioritizes the integration of faith and academic excellence.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform basic computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Jenzabar or Ellucian/Banner is a plus.
- Organization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Professional phone skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Time management skills and the ability to keep a daily schedule of appointments.

- Ability to leverage engagement history and communication data to move students from lead to application.
- Proactive and efficient identification and resolution of roadblocks that may delay application completion.
- Development and execution of a comprehensive and supportive process that fosters student connection to the university.
- Creation of personalized affordability pathways to ensure students feel financially confident in their decision.
- Development of a series of orientation events and readiness initiatives to ensure students are well-prepared for their college experience.

Primarily weekdays, 8:00am-5:00pm. Flexible schedule including nights and occasional weekends required. Some travel may be required.
