About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources
- Conduct facility tours and pre-admission interviews with prospective residents and responsible parties
- Explain facility services clearly and professionally
- Receive, review, and respond to admission inquiries via phone, email, fax, and in person
- Gather information from referrals and prepare summaries for team review
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Wellness Nurse to determine admission suitability
- Follow up with newly admitted residents to ensure a positive transition and satisfaction with services
Schedule
This is a Full-Time position working Wednesday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pay
$25-$29 per hour
Requirements
- 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in a long-term care setting (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs
- Valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and insurability under the company's insurance policy
- Ability to represent the company ethically and professionally while maintaining accountability
