Responsibilities
- Cook up admissions and discharges for all patients.
- Responsible for benefit eligibility and confirmation.
- Aid in Utilization Review.
- Aid in billing issues.
- Aid in coordinating and collecting co-pays, deductibles or other fees from patients.
- Aid in coordinating and arranging patient payment plans when necessary.
- Liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage.
- Schedule and complete admission assessments and required paperwork.
- Attend team meetings and complete all training courses timely as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of intake/admissions experience preferably in behavioral healthcare.
- PREFERRED: Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- PREFERRED: Three (3) years of intake/admissions experience preferably in behavioral healthcare.
- 18 days PTO (Paid Time Off).
