Position Summary: Admissions Coordinator We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Admissions Coordinator with a strong background in SALES, MARKETING, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven position with a strong focus on sales, marketing, business development, referral generation, and census growth. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic, professional, and comfortable getting out into the community and developing new business. This role requires more than coordinating admissions. The Admissions Coordinator will help drive census growth by developing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, healthcare providers, families, and community partners. The ideal candidate understands that successful admissions begin with strong relationships, consistent follow-up, and an active sales and marketing presence in the community. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase referrals and grow facility censusBuild and maintain strong relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partnersConduct regular sales calls, referral-source visits, community outreach, networking, and relationship-building activitiesIdentify and actively pursue new referral and business-development opportunitiesMaintain consistent follow-up with referral sources, prospective residents, and familiesConduct professional and engaging facility tours for prospective residents and familiesCoordinate the admission process from initial referral through admissionReview referrals and assist with determining appropriate placementVerify insurance and assist with admission documentationMonitor current and projected census and partner with facility leadership to achieve census goalsTrack referral activity, admissions, referral sources, and lost-business opportunitiesConduct market research and monitor local healthcare and competitive trendsDevelop and participate in community outreach and marketing initiativesRepresent the facility at community, civic, networking, and healthcare-related eventsEvaluate resident and family satisfaction with the admission processCollaborate with facility leadership, nursing, the business office, and other departments to provide a smooth admission experience What We're Looking For Sales and marketing experience is a major focus of this position.
