About the Role
The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care. They are responsible for coordinating admissions from start to finish, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth patient flow.
Responsibilities
- Ensure admissions are coordinated from start to finish
- Accurately maintain list of open bed status and waiting lists at all programs and coordinate patient flow to ensure expedited admission process
- Coordination with all programs re-admission flow
- Coordination with UR and finance for admissions
- Coordination with patients/families, referral source and outpatient providers
- Demonstrate consistent knowledge and competence of patient census and patient flow to ensure efficient access to care
- Coordinate with the Financial Department in obtaining insurance verifications, payment information and providing facilitation of admissions
- Collect medical and psycho-social documentation regarding applicants to present to clinical staff when needed
Requirements
- 1+ years of behavioral health admissions experience required
- Insurance and UR experience
- Admissions/behavioral health call center knowledge and experience
- Clinical skill to coordinate with pts and families
- Bachelor's degree required

Pay
The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations. Colorado pay range $22 - $28 USD
Schedule
This position is posted as remote; however, per company policy, candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of ZIP code 80230 will be required to follow a hybrid schedule, even if they applied to the remote posting. Remote: Mondays and Fridays On-site in our Denver Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
