About the role
The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the mission of Dialysis Clinic, Inc. by facilitating the admission process for end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients. This position requires adherence to facility-specific processes and protocols, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to facility specific processes and protocols, as outlined by the Area Operations Director, Nurse Manager, attending physician, and/or medical director.
- Communicates with Nurse Manager and/or designee on a weekly basis regarding shift availability.
- Maintains an electronic tracking system for optimal efficiency and organization.
- Provides referring facilities with a list of required documents on the same day of request for placement.
- Gathers all initial financial supporting documentation, information, and coordinates with referring physician or his/her designee and referred clinic.
- Secures and documents all secured e-faxes, updates designated clinic with pending documentation, and requests for insurance verifications.
- Collaborates with the entire team including Administrator, Nurse Managers, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Clinic Staff.
- Enters patient information into Demographics application within the Darwin Portal after the patient has been accepted.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical office experience preferred.

Pay
Compensation ranges from $16-$21 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full-time, five 8-hour shifts starting at 8am.
