Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient admissions process to meet the requirements and needs of the Center with adherence to Regulatory, Licensure requirements and strives to exceed referral needs and expectations.
- Ensure funding authorizations and re-authorizations are current; facilitates tracking of additional support services.
- Works with variety of proprietary and funder electronic systems.
- Works closely with Clinical and Admissions teams regarding the MCO and insurance funding authorizations.
- Third-party liability (TPL), MCO continued stay reviews and packet submissions, MCO authorizations, 1:1 tracking, funding verification, appeals and denials processes.
- Affords Admissions when and where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Marketing or related field.
- At least one-year experience in customer service or preferably in the mental health/behavioral health or intellectual disabilities field.
- Requires computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, and spreadsheets.
- Requires strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
- Candidate should be detail oriented and meticulous, a team player and facilitator; is able to use leadership skills.
