ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR

Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, UT, is a private residential treatment center for adolescents 12-17 years of age. We counsel, teach, and mentor children placed in our care and give each child a chance to make successful changes. We treat boys and girls who have emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders. Our accredited private school allows students to continue their education while receiving treatment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all admissions and referrals to completion, including ensuring all documentation is provided to appropriate departments and being present for after-hour admissions.
• Respond to all referral inquiries according to timely standards and enter the inquiry information into various tracking systems.
• Provide all required documentation to the appropriate parties for the pre-authorization process.
• Ensure funding is in place prior to setting travel for an admission.
• Complete pre-screen assessments to determine the appropriate level of care according to the psychiatrist recommendation and determine if the facility can provide it in coordination with both the medical reviewer and clinical reviewer’s assessments for placement.

This position will work at the main campus in West Jordan, Utah.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to communicate with all external and internal customers in a professional and courteous manner via written, telephone, email, and other methods.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers.
• Must be able to adhere to strict attendance standards.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
