Dr. Alam is an internationally renowned psychiatrist with academic affiliations at Northwestern University and University of Illinois, Chicago. He completed his residency training there and has been involved in over forty studies as a principal investigator. Dr. Alam founded the Neuroscience Research Institute, which conducts cutting-edge research in medication and interventional psychiatry. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine and has received numerous awards. He has also been featured on radio and television.
