About the role
Rippowam Cisqua School seeks an Admissions Associate to support all aspects of admissions and enrollment while providing a warm, personalized experience for prospective families. As a key ambassador for the school, the Admissions Associate will partner with the Director of Admissions, divisional leadership, faculty, and staff to guide families through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions and enrollment process, guiding them through application requirements, timelines, and next steps with professionalism, warmth, and responsiveness.
- Manage applicant workflow, coordinating visits, parent interviews, tours, assessments, appointments, and application review logistics to ensure a smooth and timely admissions process.
- Maintain accurate, confidential applicant records within the school's enrollment management system and assist with admissions reporting, enrollment tracking, and data management.
- Develop and communicate a strong understanding of Rippowam Cisqua School's programs, culture, mission, and values in all interactions with prospective families and community members.
- Plan, coordinate, and support admissions programming, including open houses, visiting days, parent coffees, tours, enrollment events, and other recruitment initiatives.
- Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, registration, materials preparation, hospitality, signage, follow-up communications, and coordination of faculty, administrators, student ambassadors, and parent volunteers.
- Support outreach and community engagement efforts that advance the school's enrollment goals.
- Collaborate with administrators, faculty, staff, and colleagues across divisions, as well as the Business Office and Finance/Operations teams, to support enrollment initiatives, community events, and accurate enrollment reporting.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office, including scheduling, communications, and administrative coordination.
- Participate in occasional evening and weekend admissions and enrollment events throughout the year.
- Perform any task assigned by the Director of Admissions or Head of School on an “as needed” basis, showing initiative in problem solving and contributing positively to the school community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in admissions, education, event coordination, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility.
- Proficiency with databases, enrollment management systems, and other technology platforms.
- Strong collaborative skills and a demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, welcoming school community.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
