Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid in scanning and verifying all student records.
  • Provide information resources to students, faculty, and staff regarding registration, records, and academic policies and procedures through various means.
  • Assist with computer-related registration procedures, including processing non-routine registrations and related changes.
  • Handle withdrawal requests and process incoming documents related to student records.
  • Perform follow-up registration tasks such as identifying variable titles and communicating with non-registrants and non-attendees.
  • Monitor and correct registration error reports as needed.
  • Maintain document imaging, including scanning, verifying, and retaining short-term and permanent student documents.
  • Support end-of-term grade processing and transcript preparation.
  • Research and provide assistance in answering inquiries and appeals related to registration information and data.
  • Manage registration office files, including permanent records of past schedules, catalogs, etc.
  • Process student verifications and deferrals.
  • Assist with NSC enrollment reporting and resolving error discrepancies.
  • Answer questions related to tuition and fees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years (24 months) of relevant experience from the following categories: course work in any discipline (equivalent to 30 semester hours equals one year), an Associate’s Degree (equivalent to eighteen months), or 90 semester hours (equivalent to two years).
  • Experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a professional office environment or higher education.
  • Keyboarding and computer skills.
