Admission Nurse, Home Care Team 1, Full Time, Day
Position Summary
To perform admissions and other oasis timepoints and revisits for clients requiring skilled nursing and fulfills the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. To respond effectively to new and changing working environments. To bear the responsibility and accountability for the nursing care that the patient receives while receiving services from Valley Home Care, Inc.
About the Role
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Successful completion of Agency Oasis certification within 1 year of position. Computer and keyboard skills, Medical terminology required. Current State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
Responsibilities
- Respond effectively to new and changing working environments.
- Bear the responsibility and accountability for the nursing care that the patient receives while receiving services from Valley Home Care, Inc.
- Utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Problem-solve and deliver care using critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
- Driver's License - current and valid driver's license, registration, inspection sticker and appropriate level of insurance coverage required, to include collision.

- Current State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
- Demonstrates effective interaction and communication (oral, writing, presenting) skills.
- Ability to work accurately and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Ability to function competently in stressful situations and a changing work environment related to changing customer needs.
- Ability to work cooperatively within the health-system; with patients and family members; and with multidisplinary team members (i.e., physicians, Rehab, etc.).
- Driver`s License - current and valid driver's license, registration, inspection sticker and appropriate level of insurance coverage required, to include collision.

Pay
The salary listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay Range: $99,424.00 - $124,280.00
