Responsibilities
Coordinating the day to day operations by acting as a liaison with all departments.
Collaborating with the nursing teams, the House Supervisor is integral in balancing staffing on a shift by shift basis, reallocating resources as census and acuity demand and facilitates patient placement.
Acting as a resource for problem solving and keeps Directors, Managers, and Administrators informed as appropriate to the circumstances.
Qualifications
- Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required, RN (Registered Nurse) license is required, ACLS Certification is required, Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
- Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required, Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
- Experience: 3 years of RN experience in acute care. 1 year of RN experience in ER or critical care is preferred
- Specific Skills: Leadership skills, Interpersonal skills, Critical thinking skills, Organizational skills
