Role Overview: The Enterprise Application Administrator II is responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise systems, including ERP applications like Ellucian Banner, Oracle databases, and related infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform system administration, database management, and application support; install, configure, and update Oracle and Banner environments; apply upgrades and perform performance tuning; support enterprise applications like WSO2 Server, RabbitMQ, and Jenkins; coordinate testing and upgrades; ensure disaster recovery readiness; support security updates and system downtime tasks.Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise application analysts, work closely with the Director of Enterprise Systems, and collaborate on projects benefitting the institution. Prioritize tasks, document requirements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; minimum five years’ experience in enterprise application systems, especially ERP and Oracle databases; proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, MS/SQL, Linux, Windows scripting, and third-party applications like Canvas and Evisions. Experience with virtualization, security, and system upgrades is essential.Additional Competencies: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, customer service, teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed, with a commitment to diversity and a professional demeanor.
