About the role

The Caris Healthcare Administrator leads the hospice agency, focusing on developing people and processes, ensuring high-quality care, financial management, and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise hospice agency personnel
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills to maintain high employee satisfaction and low turnover
  • Recruit, hire, and direct training and education for employees
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures for the hospice agency and its personnel
  • Manage and evaluate the quality of care provided and conduct supervisory visits with employees as needed
  • Ensure productivity of employees and efficient utilization of services
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other healthcare organizations and referral sources

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of healthcare-related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Proficiency in using computers and technology
