Role and Responsibilities
- Verify and enforce all company and state rules and regulations that pertain to processing and finalizing life and annuity products.
- Determine the accuracy of the client record and policy record, and process requests for additional information needed to update these records for all new life and annuity applications.
- Evaluate non-medical applications.
- Complete the issue process on all applications.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree and three years of comparable work experience (i.e. business or customer service related)
- OR five years of customer related experience (a combination of college education and work experience totaling five years)
- Basic knowledge of new business/underwriting operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of SFB products preferred
- Basic typing skills (25 wpm)
- Basic use of Microsoft Word
- Ability to use sound reasoning and judgment to make quick decisions
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Good multi-tasking abilities
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
