About the role
The Bronco One Stop is a centralized space for students to access common student services to strengthen their ability to navigate Fayetteville State University. The goal of Bronco One Stop is to enhance the student experience with the application process, academic records, financial aid, making payments, speaking with an advisor to register for classes, gaining assistance with degree planning, receiving academic support and navigating university resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative office support to the One Stop Center.
- Manage confidential information.
- Facilitate and organize work flow and coordinate office activities.
- Communicate with parents, youth, community partners and university officials.
- Work on-site.
- Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
- General knowledge of office management techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Banner Financial, E-buy, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Sign.
- Good time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
- Ability to manage time, and work calmly under pressure.
- Interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations and provide customer care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two or more years of secretarial or clerical/administrative and office management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- General knowledge of office management techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Knowledge of Banner Financial, E-buy, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Sign.
- Ability to facilitate and organize work flow and coordinate office activities.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, youth, community partners and university officials.
- Ability to conceptualize written correspondence with minimal errors and type 45 wpm.
- Must have good time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, follow through on assigned projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
- Ability to manage time, and work calmly under pressure.
- Must have interpersonal skills to work with diverse student populations and provide customer care.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- The Bronco One-Stop Administrative Support Associate must work on-site.
