Administrative Supervisor PRN

About the role

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for clinical, operational, and administrative oversight for all departments in the absence of the Managers and Directors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient placement
• Serves as administrative liaison
• Responsible for staffing
• Other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates leadership through supervision, facilitation, and coordination of clinical care
• Assists with the coordination of management activities and serves as administrative support to Nurse Manager and Nurse Director
• Participates as a member of the care team to achieve business goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Current license as a registered nurse in North Carolina or one of the compact states as defined by North Carolina Board of Nursing (required)
• Current BCLS certification (required)
• ACLS and/or PALS certification may be required in member hospitals
• Specialty Certification in Leadership from a National Organization (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory or management experience (required)
• Critical Care nursing experience (preferred)
