About the role

The Administrative Supervisor, supported by and in collaboration with the Manager of Behavioral Crisis Services, has authority, responsibility, and accountability for the daily planning, organizing, and directing of all operational and clinical aspects of patient care in the department. Assists with directing and monitoring care coordination, emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families. Provides clinical support and education to the Behavioral Crisis Services team and assists the Manager of Crisis Services as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing, developing, and implementing initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction across the department.
  • Assist staff in proactively identifying patient/family needs and/or concerns.
  • Complete leader rounding with patients/families and seek resolution to any concerns.
  • Assist with reviewing, developing, and implementing initiatives to improve patient satisfaction across the department.
  • Provide input into operating and capital budgets with budget parameters monitored as requested.
  • Complete annual performance appraisals for staff in conjunction with the Manager of Behavioral Crisis Services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program (required). Supervision designation preferred.
  • Current Ohio license as LISW or LPCC (required).
  • Post-Master’s experience in a mental health treatment or healthcare setting (required).
  • 4-6 years of clinical experience with children and adolescents, preferably in a crisis or inpatient setting (preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and clinical skills, including competency in diagnosis and treatment (required).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (required).
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training (preferred).

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Weekend coverage as needed.
