Administrative Substitute Teacher

Job Summary

Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District is seeking Administrative Substitute Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year at Absegami High School, Cedar Creek High School, and Oakcrest High School. The positions are expected to work up to 4 days per week (Monday through Friday) beginning September 2, 2026, covering grades 9-12.

Responsibilities

• Substitute teaching in grades 9-12 at multiple high schools.
• Work up to 4 days per week during the 2026-2027 school year.
• Must hold a NJ teaching certificate OR a NJ substitute teacher certificate.
• No substitute teachers without substitute teaching experience will be hired.
• Candidates needing a substitute certificate must apply separately.
• Candidates must have a valid NJ Criminal History Clearance by September 1, 2026.
• A Mantoux (TB) test result must be on file by September 1, 2026.

Requirements

• Current NJ teaching certificate OR NJ substitute teacher certificate.
• Substitute teaching experience.
• NJ Criminal History Clearance by September 1, 2026.
• Mantoux (TB) test result on file by September 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Ability to cover all subjects and grade levels.
• Experience working in a high school setting.
