Administrative Specialist - Switchboard
About the role
The Administrative Specialist at Switchboard serves as the first point of contact for callers, visitors, clients, families, staff, and community partners, maintaining a professional, calm, and helpful presence at all times.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Greet visitors
- Assist with initiating and following emergency procedures
- Aid with clerical tasks such as mail sorting and distribution, copying and faxing, booking conference rooms, and occasional data entry/updates
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have valid driver's license
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- 3 years relevant experience in administration, preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to attend 3 days of paid new hire orientation

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.30 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Schedule
This position is located in Rutland, MA and the schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
