Position Summary
We're looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our team. The Administrative Assistant supports the Production Planning staff, collates production data, maintains office supply inventory, and completes various tasks in Production Planning and Finance department as assigned.
Where You’ll Work
This role will be based out of our North East, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, just outside of Erie.
What You’ll Do
- Aid with seasonal reporting of our annual harvest to ensure proper accounting of our main ingredient delivered by our grower owners
- Maintain office supply inventory, ensuring necessary stock levels are met and orders are placed promptly to support seamless daily operations
- Support production planning positions with the daily production performance reporting, inventory control, and payroll responsibilities as well as providing vacation coverage
- Items such as but not limited to: Payroll reconciling and processing, Balancing tanks, ingredients, and packed product inventory with physical counts, Produce processing and packaging production reporting, Distribute labor to production batches
- Support new initiatives through reconciling / auditing information as we move to a new ERP system
- Support and participate in employee engagement activities and safety audit / EHS program
- Partner with Finance, packaging, processing and other departments to support daily activity on an as needed basis
Who You Are
- The successful candidate must possess the ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- This position will be responsible for completing time sensitive work in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate must be able to interact well with others at all levels of the company, specifically plant supervisory and office / technical employees
- Flexibility and a positive attitude are important
What You’ll Need
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
- 2-4 years experience in a fast paced, detail-oriented work environment
- Must possess advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets specifically with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Oracle a plus
- Knowledge of INFOR a plus
