About the role

The incumbent serves as a confidential liaison to the Warden. They attend private meetings, communicate highly sensitive and confidential information, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultant, demonstrator, and resource person for the Inmate Disciplinary Appeals program.
  • Research and investigate issues, advise the Warden, and recommend changes in policy and procedure.
  • Represent the facility or Warden, confer with executive and high-level officials, and interact with public officials.
  • Provide assistance to executive and administrative staff, serve on departmental committees, and perform duties at the request of the Deputy Warden.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in administrative services; OR
  • Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
  • A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
  • An advanced degree plus one year of experience in administrative services.

Qualifications

  • Experience Substitution: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field.

Pay

The pay for this position is competitive and is determined by the State Civil Service Commission.
