About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Serving as the Executive Assistant to the Director, including scheduling board and external meetings, managing confidential matters, and providing administrative support to the Commission and staff.
- Overseeing, planning, and implementing the Minority Health Month Program, conferences, and workshops.
- Coinciding information for the Commission’s website, listserv, social media platforms, and newsletter, including updating content and running analytics.
- Using and maintaining the electronic grant management system for grantee files and tracking.
- Performing fiscal-related duties, including processing and maintaining documents related to external bid development, purchasing supplies, and overseeing equipment and asset management.

Requirements
- 30 months experience or 30 months training in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- OR completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college AND 12 months experience in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- OR 12 months experience as Administrative Professional 2,16872.
- OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
