The Duke Center for International Development (DCID) in the Sanford School of Public Policy seeks two administrative interns with strong data science skills to assist with a project tracking private climate investments in Southeast Asia.
About the role
The project involves maintaining a database related to climate investments in the region, which has been built through Large Language Models (LLM) by Duke MIDS students. The intern will also collaborate with the Principal Investigator to create summaries of important research findings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a database related to climate investments in Southeast Asia using advanced data sciences.
- Create summaries of important research findings with the Principal Investigator.
- Collaborate with the Research Manager via bi-weekly Zoom meetings.
Requirements
- Familiarity with advanced data sciences.
- Strong time management and communication skills.

- Recent graduate from a relevant field.

Pay
- Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.00 to USD $22.84.
