PACE Program

The PACE Program is designed to help older adults remain safely in their homes rather than entering nursing facilities. It provides complete medical care, rehabilitation, medications, transportation, social services, and supportive therapies—all coordinated by an interdisciplinary care team. Participants receive personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs, along with access to a PACE center for social activities, meals, and clinical services. By integrating medical and supportive care under one program, PACE helps seniors maintain independence, improve quality of life, and continue living in their communities with dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing participant records
  • Cooking and serving meals at the PACE center
  • Assisting with data collection and reporting
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Supporting operational projects
  • Facilitating communication among clinical and administrative departments
  • Observing interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Learning about participant-centered care planning
  • Contributing to projects that improve organizational performance and participant outcomes

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and ethically
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
  • Previous internship, volunteer, or work experience in healthcare or administrative settings
  • Knowledge of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly model or geriatric healthcare services
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or healthcare databases
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Interest in elder care, healthcare operations, or care coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and interdisciplinary environment

Pay Rate: $16.78/hour
