Administrative Intake Support Specialist Pediatric Urgent Care Part Time
Scheduled weekly hours: 18. Work shift: Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Professionally and calmly handle crisis calls to determine appropriate next steps in the assessment process.
- Complete phone triage intake for all HRS admission referrals.
- Review, monitor, and collect program data, providing evaluation to enhance data.
- Work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent patient experience.
- Perform related office duties such as patient registration, insurance verification, and courtesy phone calls.
- Manage and implement emergency procedures for the entire organization.
- Manage switchboard operations for the entire organization, directing customers to requested persons.
- Orient patients to the assessment process and complete admission paperwork.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities required.
- Ability to provide culturally inclusive care with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community setting.
- Interpersonal relationship skills necessary to relate to a variety of internal and external contacts, including patients and families, multi-disciplinary treatment team members, other hospital employees, and individuals in the social sphere of the patient under treatment.

Pay
The equivalent base pay range for this position is $17.90 - $25.06 per hour. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. This range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
