Nature of work
Performs business support activities, with core tasks of creating and managing purchase orders, managing actual spend vs budget, creation of new suppliers and cost centers, liaising with internal and external teams, enhancing policies and procedures, raising tickets for support, and proactive follow up of teams.

- Duties and responsibilities
- Performing business support activities, primarily creating and managing purchase orders within Ariba system
- Providing guidance and direction to staff for best practice in what is required to raise a PO
- Reviewing documentation for completeness throughout the ordering process
- Following up for invoicing and submission of invoices
- Managing escalations when PO's are blocked
- Liaising with internal and external teams in relation to purchase order
- Enhancing policies and procedures based on experience and observations
- Managing creation of new cost centers and suppliers
- Tracking orders against the plan, and invoices against the orders
- Monthly reporting of actuals vs plan
